Personal Discourse

Personal Discourse is the discourse connected to the expression of emotions and feelings between individuals.  This could be a conversation of one person with another, or a person and himself.  This style of writing is, while informative, very informal and does not have any rigid style or formula.  This includes Facebook, MSN messenger, skype, and any other sort of writing between people in a relaxed, peer-like atmosphere.

This is definitely a good definition of personal discourse; you capture both its self-reflective properties and its properties of expressing emotions between other people. Maybe adding diary entries/memoirs to your example list might help elaborate its meaning. You need a personal discourse entry as well haha.

This my favorite one! haha I love personal discourse and, great job with the examples again. I think its important that you mentioned the expression of emotions. That makes it clear that this is still a type of discourse. Great job.
